For reference, Windows assumes a standard display pixel density of 96 pixels per inch, meaning that if you're using the default 100% scale factor, then something meant to be an inch wide will actually be an inch wide on a 96 ppi display. I personally avoid 4K displays because unless you specifically need 4K resolution for your job (because you're editing 4K video, for example), then 4K resolution just doesn't leave a lot of ideal display size options when you actually consider pixel density and the reality that Windows scaling still isn't ideal. I have a pair of Dell U2717D displays, which have since been replaced by the very similar U2719D.
